The Canon AE-1 Program is a 35 mm single-lens reflex camera that uses Canon's FD mount lenses. It was introduced in April 1981 as the successor to the Canon AE-1, five years after that camera's introduction.[1] The major difference was the addition of the Program AE mode first seen in the A-1. This mode sets both the shutter speed and aperture automatically—albeit with a slight bias towards the shutter speed setting. The user focuses on the camera and then presses the shutter button. For those desiring more control, the AE-1's shutter priority auto-exposure and full manual modes are still available.
This Camera overall is in great condition. Every function works in this camera. The advance lever pulls nicely as well as shutter is snappy at all speeds. The film counter works as well as the film winder is smooth. The viewfinder is relatively clean and the light meter also works in this camera. Auto & program function works in this camera. Also, a new light seal has been installed as well.
Lens aperture blades has a bit of oil on it and due to that, it does not close fully on higher aperture dial. This is a lens issue and not a body as other lens works perfectly on it. If you know how to repair it then this is a bonus lens for you. The price is for the body as the lens has been added as an additional for no extra cost. What you see in the pictures is what you get.
